Victoria Shoemaker Young

Dr. Victoria Shoemaker Young graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic. After doing locums and associateships for a few years, she opened Shelley Chiropractic Health Centre. Dr. Young specialises in low-force chiropractic techniques in addition to doing traditional chiropractic adjustments. She is married to an Australian with whom she has three children. Dr. Susanna Chan graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Susanna suffered from chronic neck pain due to an injury in her early teens. Having been introduced to Chiropractic at a young age, she herself has since experienced the many benefits of Chiropractic care, and is passionate in helping others achieve their optimum health potential. Dr. Chan offers low force, as well as traditional manual adjusting techniques and soft tissue therapies to suit patient preferences and individual needs. She looks forward to meeting and working with you on your journey to health, prevention, and wellness!

After 17 great years practising from the Shelley Hub, Dr Victoria Shoemaker Young is excited to announce that she is joining the team at Riverton (Tassell) Chiropractic. As of September 19th, Victoria will continue to care for all her patients from the new location directly behind Stockland Riverton at 5/2 Madeira Road, Parkwood. All of your files will move with her and you will get the same great care but in a new location. You can now download your private health insurance membership card to your Apple Wallet and use your Apple phone or watch to directly claim through our HICAPS terminal. Not currently available for Android users.

"In a move Apple believes all but makes a physical wallet redundant, the US tech company will now offer contactless health insurance cards and policies from major insurers including Medibank, Bupa, NIB and GU Health through Apple Wallet. HBF will join the system in early August."

The cold weather can bring with it a lot of neck and shoulder pain. Why you ask? When temperatures drop our nervous system may trigger changes in the body, where muscles tighten up to constrict blood vessels in the arms, neck and
shoulder blades and divert the warmth to our core. Make sure you wear scarves or something with a high collar to keep your neck out of the elements. If you're feeling like your body needs a tune up give us a call or book online. Keep warm!

Apologies for the confusion....the latest information from the Government prohibits Allied Health Professionals from seeing patients. Therefore, the clinic will remain closed until Friday Feb 5th, 6pm. All massage and chiropractic appointments are cancelled but we will be in touch to reschedule as the week progresses. Stay safe.

Shelley Chiropractic will remain open this week. We will be spacing out our appointment times so there's only one patient in the clinic at a time and reducing administrative support. Masks are mandatory for both the chiropractor, administrative staff and the patient. Extensive cleaning will be undertaken between patients. We will do our best to keep you safe and healthy.
