🧠 Need a Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)?

An FCA is a detailed assessment completed by an Occupational Therapist to understand how you (or your child) manage everyday activities such as self-care, mobility, communication and participation within the home or community.

This might include looking at how you make a cup of tea, navigate stairs or complete tasks such as vacuuming or dressing.

The assessment helps to identify strengths, challenges and the supports you need to reach your goals.

FCA’s are often used to support:
✅ Support new NDIS access applications
✅ Provide evidence for plan reviews
✅ Provide evidence for the need for continued or increased supports

With the holiday season approaching, now is the perfect time to book your FCA, before things get busy and ahead of upcoming NDIS plan reviews in the new year.

Tayla is one of our incredible paediatric occupational therapists, with a strong passion for supporting children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.

🧠 Her special interest areas are:
-Upper limb development
-Bimanual integration to support hand function
-Building early play and engagement skills

Tayla uses evidence-based, child-centred approaches to help children build confidence, independence, and meaningful everyday skills — all through play!
