🏡Gallawah Disability Support Services is a Registered NDIS business, is urgently seeking compassionate and reliable Casual NDIS Support Workers to support participants across Shepparton Victoria.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by assisting people with disabilities in living independently and achieving their goals in their homes and communities.

✅ Gallawah is the first Aboriginal owned NDIS provider to be registered in Victoria
Empowering communities since 2020

✅ Key Responsibilities:
• Community access and social participation
• Transport to appointments and activities
• Implementing individual support plans
• Encouraging independence, choice, and dignity
• Completing progress notes and documentation

✅ Preferred Requirements
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Previous disability support experience
• First Aid & CPR
• Working with Children Check (if applicable)
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

✅Essential:
• Must be able to work in Australia
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

We are hiring Casual Disability Support Workers!

📍 Shepparton, VIC

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants living with psychosocial disabilities in the Shepparton area. Applicants with lived experience of mental health challenges are strongly encouraged to apply.

This role suits someone who is flexible, person-centred, and passionate about supporting mental health recovery and community participation.

About the Role
As a casual support worker, you will provide one-on-one support tailored to each participant’s goals and needs, including:
- Supporting daily living skills and routines
- Assisting with community access and social activities
- Providing emotional support and encouragement
- Supporting mental health recovery and wellbeing
- Attending appointments when required
- Following individual support plans and completing progress notes
- Shifts may vary and can include weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends.

About You
You will be someone who is:
- Experienced or confident supporting people with psychosocial or mental health disabilities
- Calm, patient, and trauma-informed in your approach
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- A strong communicator who builds positive, respectful relationships

Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent (or willing to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia

Why Gallawah?

We believe in a world where every person can live life with a disability, to the fullest. Our mission is to assist people living with permanent disabilities and empower change for them. We do that, by understanding each individual’s unique plan and providing necessary unbiased, expert assistance to help navigate, learn, and understand more about NDIS.

We believe in smart fund allocation, and therefore only employ Support Coordinators that are experts at assisting clients to find service providers and products that best meet the individuals unique needs and budget.

Why We Began Gallawah

Gallawah was founded in November 2020 to fill the gap in the National Disability Insurance Scheme for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, particularly those residing in the Goulburn Valley Region.
