About us
Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic is the longest serving and most experienced provider of comprehensive audiology services in the Goulburn Valley. We are an independent private audiology practice which is also contracted to provide full audiological services to Shepparton’s Goulburn Valley Health.
The range of services provided by Goulburn Valley Hearing Clinic include:
Private Practice Clinic - hearing aid assessments; prescription and rehabilitation services for the Office of Hearing Services and private clients; assistive listening devices; industrial testing; Workcover and medico-legal assessments; and clinical audiology services including special workplace tests.
Goulburn Valley Health Clinic – providing audiological services to Community Health and Hospital clients including; advanced diagnostic testing for all ages; paediatric audiology; general audiological services; and family-centred newborn (neonate) assessments.
Our Audiologists use a wide range of diagnostic tools and techniques including ASSR, Electrocochleography, CERA and OAE’s.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Audiologist to step into a varied role that will work across both a hospital-based clinic and in a private practice setting. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing clinical skills by providing a range of audiology care and services that include newborn diagnostics and family support, through to managing complex adult hearing conditions.
By having a client-centred approach in all that you do, you’ll be experienced at comparing various client options and making recommendations based on predicting which one will have the best outcome for the client. Working closely with a small team of like-minded professionals, you’ll have a keen interest in sharing and developing your existing knowledge within a clinical supervision environment.
Reporting through to the Executive Manager, you’ll have a compassionate approach to communicating with clients and will have a knack for building rapport.
Who are you?
• You are an Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist and ideally have your own HSP Qualified Practitioner Number;
• You have at least three-year’s experience working in either a clinical or private practice setting;
• Clients are your number-one – you enjoy helping clients to find the right solution for them;
• No job is too small or meaningless … you ‘get your hands dirty’;
• You love to learn and be connected to the audiology community – you attend meetings and conferences to ensure you’re at the forefront of audiology thinking and practice
• You are compassionate, and show integrity and discretion in all that you do
• You are a team player – you like to work with others to ensure the overall team succeeds.
