✨ The secret is out!...✨🫢
We are incredibly proud to share that our colleague Liz Arcus has been named the 2026 Greater Shepparton Women’s Charter Award recipient.
Announced at the Soroptimist International of Shepparton’s International Women’s Day Breakfast, the award recognises women who make a meaningful difference in the community through leadership, support and mentorship.
Liz was recognised for her incredible work supporting vulnerable women and newly arrived families across Greater Shepparton. Through her role as a Foundation House Refugee Access Worker at Primary Care Connect, and as Community Hub Leader at St George’s Road Primary School and the Shepparton English Language Centre, Liz helps refugee, migrant and asylum seeker families connect with services, build friendships and feel part of the community.
In 2025 alone, the Community Hub supported more than 200 families, helping women access health, education, legal and wellbeing services and build confidence and independence.
Primary Care Connect CEO Trish Quibell said "this recognition is a wonderful acknowledgement of the difference Liz makes every day. Her work reflects the heart of what we do at Primary Care Connect – supporting people to feel connected, valued and empowered in their community. We are incredibly proud to have Liz as part of our team."
Post International Women’s Day, we are proud to celebrate Liz and the many amazing women across our community who show leadership, compassion and commitment to supporting others.
👏 Congratulations Liz — a very well-deserved recognition!
