Something I’ve noticed over many years in practice is that there are often two patterns when it comes to healthcare.
Some people come once… and never follow up, or do but months later.
Others come only when things reach a crisis point, we work on things briefly, and then I might not see them again for another year or two when symptoms flare up again.
But real healing usually doesn’t happen in a single visit.
Most health issues develop over time.
Hormones slowly shift.
Nutrient levels slowly decline.
Stress accumulates.
Gut health becomes disrupted.
Metabolic changes occur.
Sometimes these changes have been building for years before symptoms become obvious.
So it makes sense that bringing the body back into balance also takes time and consistency.
Healing often happens in layers.
As the body begins to rebalance, one issue improves and another layer may reveal itself.
Sometimes progress looks like:
• two steps forward
• one step back
• adjusting the plan
• learning more about what your body needs
This is a normal part of the healing process.
The key ingredients are consistency and persistence.
Small changes, supported over time, often lead to the biggest and most lasting improvements.
Looking after your health is not usually a quick fix.
It’s a process of supporting the body as it gradually moves back towards balance.
