A few weeks ago we travelled to Sydney for a special respite experience, attending the incredible Sydney Gay and Le***an Mardi Gras Fair Day for a young teen who is still discovering who he is and where he fits in the world, experiences like this are powerful. Being surrounded by acceptance, diversity and celebration creates space for confidence to grow. 🏳️‍🌈

Respite isn’t just time away — it’s about creating safe opportunities to explore identity, build independence, and feel a sense of belonging in the wider community all while having fun.
Watching him take it all in. The colour, the music, the joy was a reminder of how important inclusive spaces are for young people.

Inclusive palms headed to Nowra show over the weekend.

We were lucky enough to spend Friday night at the show. Nowra show had a lot of entertainment such as dog high jump, woodchopping and live music. There were also amazing stores throughout the show and some great food choices and to finish it off we watched the rodeo.

School hoildays have been in full swing here at inclusive palms.

Over the last few weeks we have been very lucky to do some amazing activities with our participants.

We have done a day at jamberoo action Park.
Visited a lot of beautiful beaches in the shoalhaven.
Explored different skateparks and playgrounds.
Visited the Op shops.

No other way to spend your birthday than spending it at Timezone! We enjoyed playing games and winning prizes with the highlight being the VR roller coaster, followed by a visit to the local vinnies.
