Welcome Dr Reynder Hagen !
Dr Hagen has recently joined the clinic and his books are open and is accepting new patients! He is working here full time 5 days a week.
Born in South Africa and later moved to Western Australia in 2006. Attended medicine at James Cook University in Townsville and Cairns. During this time I did placements in remote Australia including Daly Waters and Katherine in the Northern Territory and later Cooktown and Tully (Far North Queensland) to name a few. In these years I developed a passion for serving rural and remote communities.
When I finished Medicine in 2014, I completed my junior years within the Cairns Hospital Health Service I completed my junior doctor years there and later pursued surgical training working. I worked as a Principal House Officer in Cairns and Townsville for General Surgery and Urology from 2018 to 2021. At the birth of my first child I stopped surgical training and re-trained as a GP to spend more time with family.
At the completion of GP training, I have moved to the beautiful Hunter Valley and I look forward to providing medical services to an amazing community here in Singleton.
