Following specific assessment techniques to determine what you need from your Massage session, you will then receive a targeted treatment, either as a one off or as part of a treatment plan. With over 10 years of Massage experience Jess will draw on a range of techniques including Remedial, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Pregnancy and Corporate seated massage. We offer a relaxed, professional environment and flexible hours including weekends and some evening.......but best of all we really care about you and how we can help you feel your best!

Happy Global Running Day! 🏃‍♂️

Ever wondered what the go is with fast & slow twitch muscle fibres, do we really have more or less of one type?

Our slow-twitch muscle fibres have are are able to contract for longer periods (due to the higher amount of myoglobin), particularly useful for endurance events.
Whereas our fast-twitch fibres rely on glycogen (energy) reserves, they contract quickly but also fatigue quickly - so more prevalent in sprinters etc.

World class marathon runners have been reported to possess 93-99% slow twitch fibres in their calf muscles, whereas world-class sprinters only about 25% in the same muscles (Wilmore & Costill 1994)

Can I help you? If you are struggling with musculoskeletal pain, dysfunction, stress management or want to improve your sporting performance or recovery then get in touch and let’s see if we can you back to feeling and functioning at your best.

With over 9 years of Massage experience I will draw on a range of techniques including Remedial, Sports, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Pregnancy and Corporate seated massage to provide you with a results driven treatment tailored specifically to your needs.

I have been lucky enough to have worked in a range of Massage Environments including Clinical, Corporate and Sporting and have worked with elite athletes such as the Gold Coast Titans, Carlton AFL Football Club, Melbourne Victory and multi sport athletes. I offer a client-centred, professional environment within a home-based clinic or mobile service (for with mobility restraints or who simply prefer a treatment in their own home environment) with Health Fund rebates available with all Health Funds.
