If your back pain disappears…
then comes straight back when life ramps up…

That’s not healing.
That’s coping.

Most recurring lower back pain follows the same pattern and it’s usually linked to these 5 things:

1️⃣ Too much rest after flare-ups
2️⃣ Core training that misses the deeper system
3️⃣ Stiff or weak hips
4️⃣ Random or unprogressed exercise
5️⃣ Fear of bending/lifting again

The goal isn’t to avoid pain forever.

It’s to raise your tolerance so life doesn’t trigger it.

If you want, comment “BACK” and I’ll send a couple of easy starting points.

“Needles for muscle pain? Yes.” 💉

Dry needling helps reset tight, overactive muscles so you can move better and recover properly.
It’s targeted. Controlled. And focused on function.

Less tension.
Better movement.
Stronger recovery.

If you’ve been dealing with ongoing tightness or stubborn pain,
book your session with MSK or contact us to see if dry needling is right for you 💪

Valentine’s Day is about care 💗

And sometimes the best place to start…
is with yourself.

Movement is care 💪
Looking after your body is care.
Choosing to address that neck, back, or knee pain you’ve been managing for months — that’s care too.

At MSK Therapy & Injury Management, we focus on helping you move better, feel stronger, and stay active long-term.

Whether it’s physiotherapy, remedial massage, dry needling, chiropractic care, or exercise physiology — the goal is simple:

Support your body so it supports you.

If something’s been lingering, consider this your reminder ✨

Start with you.

Proudly supporting the local community with movement-focused care.

Warm up before lifting. Focus on these three areas to make the most of your sesh 🏋

1. Open up your hips. Exercises: Hip openers and banded squats.

2. Wake your upper back and shoulders. Exercises: Thoracic rotations, band pull-aparts, YTWs.

3. Brace your core: Exercises: Dead bugs, plank variations, breathing brace.

📝 Save these for your next sesh!

Stretching after you train, but still feeling tight? You're likely stretching wrong ❌

Sorry, we know it's harsh, but it's the truth.

But here are two things you can do to fix it.

😮‍💨 Slow your breathing down. Use your breathing to signal to your body that it’s safe to relax.

🙆 Control your movements and don't force positions. Flexibility comes from control, not pain.

✅Stretch smarter, not harder. Save this for after your next session.

Neck pain that keeps coming back usually isn’t random.

Stretching and massage can feel good short term.
But if the muscles that support your neck aren’t strong or doing their job, the pain often returns.

Common reasons:
1) Long hours sitting or on your phone
2) Weak upper back and neck support
3) Moving without enough strength
4) Stopping rehab once symptoms settle
5) Pain easing doesn’t always mean the problem’s fixed.

Save this if your neck flares up now and then.

Small aches and tightness are easy to brush off.
But they’re often early signs your body needs a bit more support ⚠️

Ongoing tightness, pain during movement, or pain that keeps returning are signals worth listening to — not pushing through.

Addressing things early can make recovery smoother and help prevent bigger setbacks 💆‍♂️

If something hasn’t felt quite right, we’re here when you’re ready.
📩 Send us a message or book via the link in bio.

Move better. Feel better.

Tightness and pain don’t usually fix themselves.
They tend to build quietly.

Early care often means easier recovery and fewer setbacks.

Book early. Move better.

Ever wonder why pain often returns after the holiday break? 🤔

Here are the top reasons we see every January:
• Less routine → more sitting
• Long drives/flights
• Poor sleep patterns
• Carrying kids, luggage, gifts
• Stress + tension
• Skipping regular treatment

The good news?
Your body responds quickly once you're back into a normal routine.

If you're feeling tight, stiff, or sore, it's totally normal. And it’s fixable 🙌

Ready to reset your body for the new year?
👉 Send us a message or comment “NEW” and we’ll organise the rest.
