Here are some simple ways you can help:
• A phone call just to say: “I’m thinking of you.”
• Offer help, raking leaves, picking up groceries, or just sitting quietly together.
• Acknowledge their loss, use their loved one’s name, share a memory, and give them space to talk or not talk, whichever they need.
