Taking a moment to officially introduce Isy to the TLC team 🫶🏻🦋
Isy began her yoga practice around six years ago during the pandemic, initially seeking relief from physical tightness and discomfort. What started as a simple recommendation soon became a deeply transformative relationship with the practice. Through yoga, Isy not only regained mobility and eased physical pain, but also discovered a philosophy that resonated with her on a profound level.
Inspired by this experience, Isy completed her teacher training in 2023. Her passion lies in Eastern philosophy and honouring the traditional roots of yoga — a practice over 6,000 years old, originally developed as a tool to train the mind and cultivate awareness.
Alongside her yoga practice, Isy has been studying and practicing meditation for over five years and is currently studying counselling, reflecting her deep care for mental health and the intrinsic connection between the mind and the body. Her teaching is grounded in the understanding that yoga is far more than physical postures. It is a pathway back to presence, nervous system regulation, and inner stillness.
In her classes, Isy aims to create a refuge from the noise of daily life, offering a safe and supportive space where students can arrive as they are and reconnect with themselves through a holistic, embodied practice.
You can join Isy in studio on Mondays 🫶🏻🌸
