I'm still looking for a couple of lovely locals who might have time to drop by and chat to a couple of seniors who are feeling a bit lonely and isolated. It's not a big commitment, just one or two hours once a week -at a time and day that suits you. If one of my lovely seniors sound like someone you'd like to meet, please give me a call.
* A man in Yamba who enjoys a good conversation and maybe a bit of pool. AND
* Two ladies in Grafton who each enjoy reminiscing and play cards and/or scrabble AND
* One lady in Grafton who enjoys reminiscing and knitting AND
* A man in Grafton who enjoys gardening, keeping fit and healthy, reading, playing cards, and used to really love fishing.
CVS introduces you to lonely and isolated seniors living in your area for the purpose of friendship and to share the things you love to do. Visits are flexible and usually about an hour per week. For more information, call or email Lainie - details below.

Hi everyone. I have community visitors ready to meet lonely and isolated people who are living in their own homes (with support of a Home Care Package) in Maclean, Yamba and Iluka. If you yourself are feeling lonely, or you know someone who is, please get in touch as I would love to tell you more about my visitors and introduce you to a new friend who will pop in from time to time for a chat,.. at a day and time that suits you both. Community Visitors may also be able to take you out for a drive or a cuppa. Happy New Year everyone! If you're wanting this year to really mean something, please consider befriending a lonely and isolated older person in your community. It's such a lovely thing to do and we can introduce you to someone who shares your interests and hobbies as the basis for a lasting friendship. If you're a man who lives near Yamba, and have a little time to spare, I'd love to introduce you to a fellow who is hoping to meet someone with whom he can have a conversation... and perhaps play pool with. School holidays are almost upon us and if you're looking for something to do with the Grandchildren, there's nothing better than getting together in the kitchen. and creating some festive spirit at the same time. 🎄🎄🎄🎄 Nothing says Christmas for me more than gingerbread and this is great because you can make it over several days. Start with the dough and then in a day or two it's ready for baking and then decorating. It's simple and great fun for all ages... and they make fantastic gifts. 🤩🎉🎁
