South Kempsey Community Meeting Space is getting an upgrade!
βœ… Industrial kitchen
βœ… Insulated walls
βœ… Extra lighting
βœ… Recovery Assistance Point
Thanks to NSW Government funding, the Dunghutti Elders Council will refurbish the South Kempsey Community Meeting Space to better support healing programs, wakes, gatherings, and emergency response. Upgrades include an industrial kitchen, wall insulation, and extra lighting.
Minister David Harris praised the project for strengthening community wellbeing and resilience.

Thank you to our community members and organisations who make this space strong, safe, and culturally grounded. Your programs and presence strengthen our collective wellbeing.

Further announcements are expected in 2026.
