Don’t collect the weaknesses of others

“In wasteful thoughts, what happens is that waste thoughts are impure thoughts, which make us, instead of making ourselves powerful, begin to collect the weaknesses of others. We also forget our own specialties and becoming doubly weak. This happens because we start thinking about how others perceive us. They may not be thinking about us, but we start assuming that they are or we start blaming them…Our thinking changes, our vision changes, our speech changes, our experience changes; everything becomes invisible. Maya [illusion] takes us down that path.

Don't absorb what we think is draining our energy. Instead, observe it and learn from it, so that we can fly high. Otherwise, our intellect gets tied up.
