Life is busy - we get it!

But… it doesn’t mean that you can’t achieve your goals.

Just slightly changing your expectation could be what you need to help take you to the next step - focusing on the ‘good enough’ bare minimums will help build momentum over time, which will result in consistency.

And we all know what happens when you are consistent.

The journey to better health is never going to be linear, and the truth is that life will always be busy.

Stop waiting for the “perfect time”

If you’re not losing weight, you’re probably not in a deficit.

Not to shame you - but this could be the missing piece of the puzzle to your weight loss journey. Fat loss requires a deficit and “mostly” doesn’t count.

It’s the little things that add up… weekend outings, bites here and there, unplanned meals etc. This is enough to pull you out of a deficit.

A deficit isn’t forever, but it does require honesty and intention.

If the scale isn’t moving, ask yourself:
Am I actually in one?

You don’t have to face your food struggles alone, it’s a major part of what we do here at and the best way to overcome them is to talk about them with your coach and, as Dee said - food log it all out so you can VISUALLY SEE it on paper (or your app).

There’s no point thinking “I’m good” and not getting results, “being good” is also different to being adherent

Gone are the days of doing endless cardio in hopes you will look “toned”.

This aesthetic comes from building muscle and dropping body fat - so it’s not to say you can’t do cardio, but if you’re not lifting weights and challenging your muscles, you’re making it harder for yourself.

Muscle is metabolic - the more muscle you have on your body the easier it is to drop body fat. As you drop body fat the ‘tone’ and definition you have spent building in the gym will be more visible.

We have seen (and have) an array of amazing women who are from of walks of life and are at different journeys of life.

We train women from age 18 right through to 70’s and what remains in common is training not only for aesthetic but for a better quality of life.

As we age our bones become brittle and fragile, meaning we are more susceptible to falls and injuries. But here at Ladies That Lift, our women train hard, and reap the benefits not only aesthetically - but they grow freedom and independence. And to be honest, you can’t put a price on that.

Meet Ollie.

Our Ladies That Lift coach and resident menopause advisor here at LTL.

Ollie will be sharing her story - a vulnerable one - about learning to ask for help and realising that it’s not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength.

With her colourful personality and infectious energy, she brings light into every room she walks into. And like all of our speakers, she genuinely cares about people.

Her story will resonate with anyone who is grieving someone they’ve lost, but still trying to keep showing up.

Still trying to lead.
Still trying to hold everyone else together while quietly holding themselves.

It’s about navigating loss while rebuilding yourself at the same time (and in Ollie’s case supporting her daughter too) all whilst giving yourself permission to not do it alone.

Sacrificing things you love to some-how unlock this happier version of yourself is not the case, putting yourself through pain, guilt or shame is not the way to live. I am invested in your health and well-being - my focus is on 5 elements, food, digestion, sleep, stress and training all of which create a powerful, confident and empowered woman.
