😴 Ever notice how you can lie down, but your body doesn’t quite switch off?

You rest, but you don’t feel restored. Your mind stays alert and your sleep feels light or your body feels unrefreshed.

In Chinese Medicine, this is often a sign that your Yin needs replenishing. Yin allows for deep rest, calm and repair.

If this is you, it’s not about doing more, but about slowing down to nourish and restore.

🌙 We’re creating a space for this kind of rest. Keep an eye out

☀️ Longer days, Lighter moods And that natural pull to be outside a little more.

In Chinese Medicine, summer is linked to the Heart, the part of you that loves connection, joy, and feeling fully alive.

Enjoy the season, but don’t burn your energy to keep up.

🌙 𝑳𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝑻𝒊𝒑: Hydrate well, eat lighter when you need to, and take a few quiet moments each day to cool your system down.

✨ the new year doesn’t need to begin with pressure or perfection.

In Chinese medicine, lasting change comes from balance, not force. it’s about working with your body, not against it.
As you step into this new chapter, here are a few gentle TCM reminders to support your energy:

🛡️ Protect Your Qi

late nights, overcommitting, and constant stimulation drain your energy. rest is productive, especially at the start of the year.

🔥 Warm Your Digestions

choose cooked, warming meals and start your mornings gently. a calm gut supports clearer thinking and steadier moods.

💃 Move Without Depletion

movement should circulate energy, not exhaust it. walking, stretching, or slow flow practices help your body reset.

🌿 Set Your Intentions

instead of asking what should I change? Try what does my body need more of this year? intentions rooted in care last longer than rigid resolutions.

✨ Wishing you a grounded, nourishing and rejuvenating year ahead ✨

☀️ Too hot to think straight? Let’s cool things down.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, chrysanthemum tea is light, floral, and cooling. When the weather is hot, or life feels fast and overstimulating, heat tends to rise which can show up as headaches, irritability or red and tired eyes.

Chrysanthemum is especially supportive in summer if:

🥵 you feel hot, flushed, or restless
👀 your eyes feel dry or strained from screens
💆‍♀️ stress sits in your head and shoulders

⚖️ less ideal if you’re already feeling very cold or depleted, your body may prefer something a little warmer.

In TCM, summer is about clearing excess heat while protecting your energy and chrysanthemum tea does exactly that.

☀️ the sun’s out, the days are longer, Summer is calling.

In Chinese Medicine, Summer is a time for expansion, movement and living from the heart.

It’s a season to enjoy warmth, connect with others and let your energy flow freely.

🌙 𝑳𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝑻𝒊𝒑: Nourish your body with fresh, hydrating foods like leafy greens, berries, cucumber and mint.

How will you welcome the energy of summer this year? 💛

🌕 a time to reconnect

The mid-autumn festival has been celebrated for centuries as a time of reunion, harvest, and gratitude.

Families gather to share mooncakes, light paper lanterns and gaze at the full moon, a symbol of wholeness and balance.

Even though it’s spring here in Australia, the festival still reminds us to pause and reflect.

👅 Your tongue is like a health diary

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, your tongue is like a mirror reflecting what’s happening inside your body.

A pale tongue? It might suggest Qi or blood deficiency. A thick coating? It could point to dampness or digestive imbalance.

Even small details reveal how your body is really doing beneath the surface.

Next time you look in the mirror, take a peek at your tongue, what’s your story? 🌿

🌸 as the world blossoms, so can your plate

Spring is a time to enjoy foods that feel fresh, green and full of life. Think sprouts, leafy greens and citrus.

By choosing foods that mirror the season, you nourish not only your digestion but also your mood and energy.

✨ what’s your favourite spring food that makes you feel renewed?
