Last week was Melissa's 1 year work anniversary with us at City Psychology! 🥳🌷🪻She does such an amazing job providing thorough assessments for children and teenagers. 🌼We love having her around and she offers a great service for our families here. 🌸

7 years…. Where did that go?

What a journey. 7 years ago I opened the doors to City Psychology in Townsville. I had an idea and passion to build a beautiful group practice that takes away the loneliness of solo private practice (after doing this myself for 25+ years).

My vision was to be surrounded by energetic, empathetic, supportive and highly effective psychologists that have fun and radiate kindness in a workplace.

As I look around today I can clearly see that I have built all of this. We who share a ‘home’ at City Psychology are an impressive bunch, we laugh, are thankful for the work we do and the people we work with.

Of course our wonderful, committed, compassionate and resourceful admin team who support us and our families every step of the way are so appreciated. You welcome our families and organise ‘everything’.

If you are in our practice this week - grab yourself a free fidget to help us celebrate! 🥳 They have been so popular and I love how thoughtful young people are when they ask if they can take a second for their brother or sister at home. 💖
