We expect that when you leave your appointment you will be able to know what is wrong, how we will help, how long it will take and what you can do to help.

Do you have pain on the side of your hip? 🤔
Worse when lying on your side?
Does it feel hot, inflamed or irritated?

This could be hip bursitis 💡- or specifically trochanteric or ischiogluteal bursitis.

A bursa is a normal structure that is similar to a mini water balloon. It’s a fluid filled sac that protects the muscle from rubbing on the bone.

Sometimes they can become inflamed and when the bursa become inflamed, it’s called bursitis.

Things like ice, avoiding direct pressure and or course some Osteo treatment can be beneficial.
