Let's get to know Dr Deanne Vagg!

Dr Vagg isn’t just an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist - she’s a Gold Coast local who loves enjoying our beautiful beaches, playing touch football and spending time with family and friends.

She’s passionate about supporting women through every stage of pregnancy and women’s health. Whether it’s managing a low-risk pregnancy, navigating a high-risk situation, or caring for gynaecological conditions like fibroids, endometriosis or PCOS, Dr Vagg takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure you feel informed and supported.

Beyond her clinical work, she’s involved in research and teaching, always looking for ways to improve care and outcomes for women. For Dr Vagg, being your doctor isn’t just about medicine, it’s about walking with you, giving guidance, and helping you feel confident every step of the way.

Noticed an unusual discharge, a strong “fishy” smell or irritation down there? It could be BV (Bacterial Vaginosis), one of the most common vaginal infections.

Thankfully, BV is usually easy to treat. A quick swab at your GP or specialist can confirm it, and antibiotics (either tablets or a cream/gel) often clear things up in just a week.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it book an appointment with your GP or Grace Private specialist. The sooner you treat BV, the sooner you’ll feel good again.

We’re very excited to announce that Dr Deanne Vagg will be joining the Grace Private team.

Dr Vagg is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, caring for both low and high-risk pregnancies, as well as a wide range of gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids and PCOS.

We’re so happy to have Dr Vagg onboard, whose thoughtful, evidence-based care is all about supporting women to feel informed, confident and heard.
