🎉 Happy Birthday to our amazing Dr Yez Sheena 🎉

Dr Sheena is an exceptional plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose dedication, professionalism and passion for patient care are truly inspiring. He brings intelligence, generosity and a great sense of humour to everything he does, while taking his work and his patients’ wellbeing incredibly seriously.

Approachable, thoughtful and deeply committed to his craft, Dr Sheena’s standard of care speaks for itself, and we feel incredibly lucky to have him as part of The Lotus Institute team.

Even if he’s spending his birthday doing what he does best — caring for patients in theatre — we’re wishing him the very best on this special milestone and can’t wait to celebrate properly when he’s back in clinic next week 🎂✨

✨ Acne scar revision with Erbium YAG ✨

In this reel, Dr Widdowson is performing Erbium YAG laser resurfacing to improve the appearance of acne scarring.
Erbium YAG works by delivering controlled laser energy to the skin, stimulating collagen remodelling and encouraging smoother, more even skin texture over time.

In appropriate patients, 2–3 Erbium YAG treatments may achieve results comparable to multiple skin needling sessions, making it a powerful option for certain types of scarring. Treatment plans are always tailored to the individual, as skin type, scar depth and healing response vary.
