Introducing Driving Assessments at Global Rehabilitation Service! 🚗

At Global Rehabilitation Service, we are committed to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, and we are excited to introduce our new Driving Assessment service led by Clement, an experienced Driving Assessor and Senior Occupational Therapist.

With six years of experience in physical and psychosocial disability, Clement has been conducting driving assessments since 2024 and has received excellent feedback from clients, families, and healthcare professionals. His expertise enables us to further support individuals in maintaining their independence and autonomy.

Who Can Benefit from Our Driving Assessments?

We support individuals with:
✅ Aged-related conditions
✅ Post-rehabilitation needs (e.g., post-surgery, neurological conditions)
✅ Spinal cord injuries & physical disabilities
✅ Post-stroke recovery & brain injuries
✅ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) & other neurodevelopmental conditions
✅ Visual impairment

How We Can Assist

✔ Retaining or Regaining a Driver’s License – We assess a person's fitness to drive, provide medical clearance to Service NSW, and recommend necessary training or adaptations.
✔ NDIS Funding Assistance – We help clients apply for funding for a specialised driving instructor, ensuring they receive the right support.
✔ Vehicle Modifications for Drivers & Passengers – We assess and recommend modifications such as:
Modified hand controls, brake & accelerator systems
Wheelchair-accessible vehicle modifications, including ramps and hoists
Custom seating solutions for enhanced comfort and accessibility
