Our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills groups launched in October led by Alannah Konners, our provisional psychologist!
Across 8 weeks, Alannah is guiding small groups of just 3-4 participants through core DBT skills, including:
đ§ Mindfulness
đ Emotion Regulation
đĽ Distress Tolerance
đ¤ Interpersonal Effectiveness
The goal is to teach practical strategies to:
⢠Manage overwhelming emotions
⢠Reduce impulsive reactions
⢠Strengthen communication + boundaries
⢠Build greater self-awareness
