Shoulder tendinopathy isn’t usually caused by “damage” — it’s often a load vs capacity mismatch.
When the demands on your rotator cuff exceed what it’s prepared for, pain can develop.
Common contributors:
• Sudden training increases
• Rotator cuff weakness
• Poor scapular control
• Repetitive overhead activity
• Age + recovery factors
The good news?
Tendons adapt really well to progressive, targeted loading.
