We welcome 🤗 Paediatric Physio Twisha ⭐️
Twisha has been working as a Physio since 2009 and brings extensive experience across both Paediatric and adult rehabilitation. She holds a Masters 📚 in Paediatric Physiotherapy and enjoys working across all age groups, supporting both children and adults to move well and achieve meaningful functional goals.
Twisha works with children presenting with a range of neurological, developmental and genetic conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, ASD, hypermobility and rare genetic diagnoses. She has developed a strong clinical interest in supporting children with cerebral palsy and complex motor presentations, and values working closely with families to help build strength, motor skills and confidence in everyday activities.
👉She is trained in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) and is a certified Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Level A therapist.
Her sessions combine neurodevelopmental approaches, play-based therapy and functional strengthening tailored to each child’s individual needs and goals. Twisha is experienced in working with NDIS participants and enjoys collaborating with families and the wider multidisciplinary team to support holistic outcomes.
👉Twisha is also comfortable assisting with paediatric equipment trials and prescription, including walker trials and Theratogs, helping children optimise mobility, posture and participation across home, school and community environments.
👉Alongside per paediatric caseload, Twisha also supports adults with a range of MSK concerns including back, neck pain, general mobility issues, and persistent pain. Her approach combines hands-on therapy, movement-based rehabilitation and education to support confidence, function and long-term wellbeing.
