🎨 Yesterday we celebrated Holi, the Festival of Colours! The children enjoyed exploring bright colours through fun, hands-on experiences that encouraged creativity, movement, and joyful expression. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about a cultural celebration that is recognised and enjoyed by many communities around the world.

Celebrations like Holi help children develop an appreciation for diversity while building a sense of belonging within their community. These experiences support Outcome 2 – children are connected with and contribute to their world.

🔬🎨 Our Kindergarten Two children enjoyed exploring science concepts through a fun and creative experiment using bicarbonate soda and vinegar to create colourful artworks. Watching the bubbling reactions sparked curiosity and excitement, while encouraging the children to ask questions, make predictions, and share their ideas.

This hands-on experience also supported the development of fine motor skills through pouring, squeezing, and careful mixing. Activities like this help strengthen learning dispositions such as curiosity, creativity, and persistence.
