It’s so common to feel disconnected from your practices at times and sometimes for a long time. Here’s the tips I like to share with students when they ask me what they can do to get back into practice:
1. Go back to basics - yup even if you’re a Reiki Master. Get out your Level 1 guidebook and training resources and start at the beginning.
2. Connect with your three pillars - Gassho as a beautiful self practice to begin. Then intention and intuition and lastly, the self treatment process.
3. Start small - you don’t have to do a full practice for it to be worthwhile. But commit to just for today 10 minutes. Consistency and authenticity is the key.
4. Share your practice - sometimes our self treatment can feel too overwhelming. Just honour the resistance and share your practice on a loved one, your crystals, a plant, your tea… whatever feels good for you.
5. Reach out to your teacher - she loves you and she’s here for you. There is never any judgement from this space. This is all part of our journey and it’s an opportunity for your next level up!
6. Keep in mind that you’re never actually disconnected at all. Reiki is the energy of the entire universe. It’s always there, you just get to choose when you believe in it 🩷
