Sunshine.
Bare feet on sand.

We gathered on the beach this morning to begin the final week of 2025 together.

Our practice was guided by the waxing Moon in Ta**us. grounding, steady, embodied.

Strong legs.
Open radiant hearts.

Playful, sometimes challenging shapes that invited us to feel rather than think.

There was balance.
There was laughter.
There was a deep, somatic sense of love and joy moving through our bodies, mind and soul.

A beautiful reminder that when we slow down and land in the body,
connection happens naturally, with the earth, with each other, and with ourselves

Lately I’ve been noticing a certain energy rising , in the women around me, in the stories I’m hearing, and even inside my own body.
That end-of-year push.
That frantic “just get to Christmas” feeling.
That pressure to hold everything together while life speeds up around us.
Accidents, little injuries, nervous systems fraying at the edges.
Obligations that feel heavier than celebrations.
Old patterns tugging at us, overgiving, overspending, numbing, running on empty.
If this feels familiar… you’re not alone.
And you’re not doing anything wrong.
This time of year can stir up so much.
In this live, I spoke about something simple but powerful:
We get to choose how we move through these next few weeks.
We can pause.
We can breathe.
We can soften the pace.
We can honour what actually nourishes us.
We can show up in a way that feels steady, present, and true.
This season isn’t about perfect napkins, perfect home renovations, or perfect families.
It’s about relationships.
It’s about connection.
It’s about presence.
And you deserve to arrive at these special moments with a full heart, not a drained empty shell.

There’s a quiet ache that comes from giving so much of yourself and still feeling like no one really gets you.

It’s not because they don’t care,
but because you’ve been tucking away the parts of you that are tender, wild, real.

You don’t need to become louder.
You don’t need to prove or perform.

You just need to feel safe to bring more of you into the room.

Even a little.

Little bits at a time.

You deserve to be met, not just needed.

Madhu Be Puri, founder of Yoga for the People, has been a practitioner of Yoga for more than 20 years, a teacher for 7 years. Her constant seeking and natural skills of coaching have found her at The coaching Institute, Melbourne, where she hones her coaching skills and continues to learn indefinitely.
