Closing out a full, beautiful year.

So grateful for the people, the movement, the moments that mattered.

2026 is already whispering,
and I’m listening.

Thank you for being here 💜

Live from the Coorong 🌿

This class was immediately elevated by place.
The Coorong lagoon as our studio, big blue skies overhead, pelicans gliding past… and yes, a very enthusiastic crew of mozzies reminding us to stay present and keep moving.

From that emerged a few new favourites
• The Fly Squat (born from the need to never stand still too long 😅)
• Keep-moving lunges to outsmart the bites
• Balance work made extra spicy by wobbly ground and coastal breeze

This is the kind of movement I love. Real, responsive, alive.
Letting the environment shape the practice rather than trying to control it.

Strong legs, semi - focused minds, a few laughs, a lot of gratitude.
Nature always gets a vote in how we move.

If you were there live, you felt it.
If you missed it, this is your reminder that movement does not need perfection. Just presence.

Jen 💛

This year unfolded gently,
one place at a time.
Vines and hills, wine and yoga,
moments that asked us to slow down
and arrive right where we were.

We found a new home for The b. class™️,
and it felt like a deep exhale.
A space that held the energy,
where movement, music and heart
could finally breathe as one.

We grew stronger together,
in body and in spirit.

In Stirling, new faces stepped inside,
and somehow,
they felt familiar before they left.

At PPP, yoga met people
who had never practised before.
Watching curiosity turn into calm,
breath turn into presence,
was one of the great joys of my year.

Yin softened its way through it all.
Through sound journeys and long holds,
through new rooms in the hills,
a reminder that stillness
has its own quiet power.

This year we moved.
We paused.
We connected.
We grew.

Not faster.
Not louder.
Just more honestly.

Gratitude is always a choice.
And this Christmas,
incredibly grateful for it all.

Wishing you a beautiful festive season,
filled with rest, warmth and love.

Thank you for being part of this year,
and part of this community.

With love,
Jen 🌿

Much love to the wonderful businesses & special places that I work with for expanding the love of movement to more…

As we move toward the end of the year, I wanted to pause and say thank you!

This year has been full of growth, movement, reflection and a few beautiful pivots for Roaming Zen. None of it exists without the community that continues to show up ... on the mat, online, in workshops, and in moments of stillness.

I’ve shared a gentle end-of-year note in this month's newsletter - reflecting on the year that’s been and sharing two summer events that I’m really looking forward to as we step into the new year together.

Today feels like a special one…
I’ve finally launched something I’ve been dreaming about creating for movement teachers everywhere — yoga, Pilates, barre, dance and beyond.

✨ The Movement Instructor Growth Assessment ✨
A short, soulful reflection to help you understand where your teaching truly shines… and where you might have beautiful opportunities to grow.

Because teaching isn’t just about cueing or sequencing.
It’s about presence.
Connection.
Holding space.
The way your energy shifts a room.
The way your classes make people feel.

This assessment explores five key areas of heart-led teaching... presence, creative flow, embodied cueing, connection, and sustainability — and gives you personalised insights to support your next steps.

If you’re a movement teacher (whether brand new or years into your career), I’d love you to take a moment for you:

👉 Discover your heart-led teaching strengths
👉 See where you have space to grow
👉 Receive guidance to support your confidence and impact

It’s free. It’s gentle. And it was created with so much care.

Start your reflection here:

This week, life delivered a gentle, and slightly humbling … reality check.

It appears my downward-facing tree and handstand era may be wrapping up before it ever had the chance to fully begin. I’ve always loved the feeling of being upside down, that playful challenge, the spark of possibility, the aliveness that rises when the world flips and you realise you’re capable of more than you expected.

I still remember the first time I attempted this pose 12 years ago during my teacher training. I was nervous, shaky, unsure, and also … without knowing it … completely ready.

It taught me something about bravery, about showing up even when we doubt ourselves, about trusting the body before the mind catches up.

Fast-forward to now … one routine optometrist check, a referral to an ophthalmologist, and the news that I have glaucoma, with deep cupping around the optic nerve and tightening of the blood vessels in my eyes.

Suddenly being upside down is no longer simply playful … it’s simply not a good idea.

And so, I adapt.

Because when one door closes, there’s always another way to rise, soften, expand or invert.

If I look from a different lense (literally), a handstand is simply the same shape as legs up the wall, or lying on the floor in the letter L… or legs over a bolster …

A different pathway, the same sensation of surrender, restoration and perspective shift … without compromising this precious body I get the privilege of living in every day.

This isn’t defeat. It’s devotion.
It’s listening more deeply.
It’s honouring the vessel that carries me through this life.

Movement isn’t only about what we can do … it’s also about how lovingly we evolve when things change. And I will continue to move, to teach, to explore, adapting as I go, grateful always for the gift of a body that speaks… and for the wisdom in choosing to listen.

Legs up the wall is now my inversion.
And it feels like enough.
Perhaps even perfect.

Today’s Barre class made me smile from the inside out.

Yep my little leggies were working hard!

That blend of strength, grace and grit always reminds me why I love teaching this practice. The shake, the focus, the softening… it’s movement that reconnects you back to yourself.

If this kind of flow calls you in, you’re welcome to join me each week on ZenFlix.

Live classes when you want that real-time energy.
On-demand when you need flexibility.
Barre, Pilates, Yoga, Strength and Yin all in one place.

If today’s class sparked something for you, trust that feeling.

Your body is ready for more.
And let’s have some fun!

If you’ve been craving grounding, joy, a reset… this class will meet you right where you are.

Come support her return.
Come move with your community.
Come home to yourself.
