D&M have become a Dad & Mum!

At the end of November we have been blessed with our sweet baby girl Milana Jessica Cameron.

We both picked the name Milana meaning sophistication, grace, love, kindness and warmth and she's been everything this name encompasses.

Parenthood as we're finding out is the ultimate act of surrender. A constant cycle of letting go of who we were to make room for the miraculous. This journey has stripped away our old certainties, demanding we find beauty in the discomfort of growth and trade our individual identities for a new, shared reason for being.

Miss Milly has rewritten everything we thought we knew about love. She is our daily reminder that in giving everything away, we’ve actually become irrevocably whole. ✨🍼🤍

🌞Thank you to all the midwives at team, Hannah throughout our whole pregnancy journey we felt heard and supported with every decision made as first time parents.

🌠Shout out to Danielle from .scared.space for the hypnotherapy birthing class which shone a light on everything we needed to expect as first time parents. A major highlight was giving fathers the confidence to become a pillar of strength for partners birthing for the first time.

🌟Mette from high spirits and the level 3 students and facilitators for sharing a sacred day honouring both Donny, Maddy aloha (love). We cherish every moment we visit high spirits.

January is almost over, and the past couple of months have already been full of Deep and Meaningful moments. ✨

​4️⃣ This year has kicked off with a bang! We’ve been busier than ever as we celebrate a huge milestone: 4 years in business!

​🌻 We are also thrilled to welcome our newest Remedial Therapist, Makira, to the team. You can find her in the clinic on Mondays, Wednesday nights, and Thursdays.

​Makira is an experienced bodywork professional with a background in professional dance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Remedial Massage, giving her a unique understanding of the moving body.

​Her clinical approach integrates specialized techniques like trigger point therapy, dry needling, and joint mobilization. She loves blending firm, targeted remedial work with the relaxation flow of Swedish or Lomi Lomi to improve physical function while easing the mind.

​When she’s not with us, Makira works as a Sports Therapist for AFL umpires and is studying Occupational Therapy. We’re incredibly lucky to have her expertise on the team!

We've been a little quiet on here lately during this sacred time, and we wanted to share our big news. We're getting ready to welcome a new member to our family! Donny and Maddy will be welcoming a baby girl in November, and we couldn't be more excited. Thank you for your continued support as we begin this new and exciting chapter.

What an incredible journey it’s been at High Spirits Retreat, immersing ourselves deeper into the transformative art of Ka Huna Massage. Completing Level 5 has been a profound experience, blending advanced techniques with the beautiful infusion of the elements—earth, water, fire, and air—into this sacred practice. 🏞️🌊🔥🌫️

Donny proved to himself that through the power of the mind, the power of movement and the power of massage that anything is possible. Five days before the course he pinched a nerve in his back and couldn't get out of bed for two days. He came into the Massage course hobbling in on a cane and finished the course dancing.

The mana of Ka Huna truly is powerful.

We are incredibly grateful for our world class facilitators, fellow body workers and clients for sharing a magical week of deep transformation.
