So, the first day of 2026 is here….
A new year always gives us a sense of a fresh start, a new beginning. I am always reminded at this time that life is precious and there are many things in this world that can sabotage our personal goals for health & wellbeing, for true contentment.
As a naturopath I see first hand the things in life that threaten our happiness when I support individuals committed to being a healthier and happier version of themselves.
Some beautiful areas in your life to do more of as 2026 commences might include:
More “you time”
Quality time spent with those you love
A conscious effort to eat more fresh produce
Gratitude for the simple things you have
Weekly early morning weekend walks in nature to reclaim a calm mind & healthy body
Yin yoga to centre the mind & be in the present moment
Daily exercise that you enjoy
Time throughout the year to restore & rejuvenate- weekends away, monthly massage, weekend drives out of the city
I see so many of us focus on financial goals, accumulating wealth goals, the biggest house, the biggest bank account, study goals, career goals. Social media is full of people showing off their achievements in these areas. But is this true wealth?
