James' service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday the 24th of December 2025, at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anna, Bundall.

Following this, there will be a 12:30pm graveside committal for James at Allambe Memorial Park, Nerang.

On Wednesday, we had the honour of hosting our first Christmas Memorial Service at Eco Memorial Park.

Thank you to Dean Aitken for guiding us through an evening of reflection and support in what is a difficult season for many.

We would also like to extend a warm thank you to those families who came out to the service, we know that returning to the chapel space can bring back painful memories, so your courage in coming and sharing in this time is acknowleged and deeply appreciated.

Newhaven Funerals warmly invites you to our Christmas Memorial Service, a time to honour loved ones who have passed and to provide a space of support for families who are missing someone at the Christmas table this year.

This free candlelight service will take place at the Yellowwood Chapel at Eco Memorial Park at 6pm on December 17th 2025.
Light refreshments will be served following the service.

It's always a privilege to be able to provide a unique farewell experience to families. We're pleased to be able to offer sea scatterings in partnership with Rods BBQ Pontoon Hire, a fantastic locally owned and operated company only a short distance from our facility at Eco Memorial Park.

Families can farewell their loved one in the peaceful waters of southern Moreton Bay aboard a comfortable pontoon, guided by a local team who truly care about the experience.

Rod’s can also arrange catering through Anchorage Café, providing families with a relaxed place to come together, share stories and support one another in a peaceful environment.

Newhaven Funerals S.E.Q. is exclusively owned by the Connolly Family. We have conducted professional funeral services in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Mackay since 1979. The Connolly family and staff have helped tens of thousands of families to deal with their grief and are adequately equipped for any request. The Connolly family also operates Crematoriums, a Pet Cremation business, memorial gardens and provides a vessel for scattering ashes at sea, whale watching and bridal transfers.
