I often find Reiki hard to describe {without it sounding too woo!} so I'm sharing these beautiful words from one of my regular reiki clients 💕
Because the truth is, Reiki is something that has to be experienced to know what it's really like.
Every session is different and everyone's experience will be different but most commonly, people feel the way that Fiona has mentioned in her testimonial, as well as:
⁘ Deeply Relaxed: Like they've just had the best nap or massage, even if they didn’t fall asleep
⁘ Lighter/Clearer: Some describe feeling like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders or chest. Brain fog and overthinking often settle down and they feel more focused with less mental clutter.
⁘ Grounded: Like they’re back in their body after being in their head all day/week/year!
⁘ Calm, even if they came in feeling anxious or overwhelmed.
⁘ Emotional release. Sometimes people cry, sigh, or laugh as things shift. All are very welcome in my space.
⁘ Balanced/Centred like they’ve returned home to themselves
⁘ More open and connected to their own feelings, to others or to something bigger than themselves.
The Reiki experience doesn't end at the conclusion of your session. Some people feel shifts immediately while others notice changes over the next few days.
It is common for people to feel drained/a little fatigued after a session so I always recommend leaving space for rest and to most importantly re-hydrate. Once the reiki works it's way through your energetic system, you feel the full benefits which could be immediately, later the same day, or within a couple of days after your session.
See, Reiki ... it's a little bit of magic that offers soo many benefits and like Fiona said, the sound healing is just more layers of goodness that I like to offer on top!
