Can you confidently tell the difference between squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and actinic keratosis?
Both may appear red, scaly, crusted and subtle in early stages.
Actinic keratosis is considered pre-cancerous.
Squamous cell carcinoma is an invasive form of skin cancer.
They can look very similar without professional examination and dermoscopy.
If it has been more than 12 months since your last skin check, we encourage you to book an appointment via the link in our bio or contact the clinic directly.
