If you are a keen knitter, the group meets on the second Friday of the month in the Hospital Boardroom from 10am – 12pm. New members are always welcome to join.

Yesterday Stirling Hospital staff were treated to a fantastic BBQ lunch, generously provided by Police Credit Union.

A big thank you to Monica and Glenn from PCU for putting on such a wonderful afternoon, and to the weather for clearing just in time so we could enjoy it outdoors.

It’s the perfect chance to shine a light on our incredible Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD) team at Stirling Hospital 👏

Working behind the scenes, they clean, sort, and sterilise surgical instruments - making sure everything is safe and ready for our theatre teams every single day.

Former Stirling Hospital Board Member Arnold Leach and Stirling Community Shop Member Lois Allen sitting on our new bench kindly donated by the Stirling Community Shop.

The Stirling Community Shop provided a generous donation of $2,000 for the installation of the park bench and surrounding pavers which features a memorial plaque honouring Wendy Chappel, our former CEO and Director of Nursing, who sadly passed away at the end of 2024.

A huge thank you to the Stirling Community Shop for their generous support.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

March into Yellow is a fun and easy way to start a conversation about endometriosis, a disease which affects 1 in 7 women and those presumed female at birth. It occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, often in the pelvis causing pain and/or infertility.
