Well unfortunately the antibiotics didn’t help Becky, so yesterday her medication was changed to penicillin shots (3 x day)
I’m eternally grateful to my neighbour Garry for coming over & jabbing her for me (Uhm at the moment she hates me anyway & I am definitely not her friend)
Let’s hope this does the trick 🤞
Meanwhile the other girls are loving all the extra snacks

Last night we had our own portable vet hospital, I cannot tell you how much I love my vet’s, All Horses Veterinary Services
I had been talking to them & updating them on Becky throughout the day, it was decided Dr Fiona would come out to check her again.
In my mind I’m calmly thinking virus like a flu but they were thinking something worse (possibly peritonitis)
She was sedated then given 4 litres of fluid, and she managed to steal another heart ❤️ Dr Fiona who sees hundreds of horses admitted she was a very special little horse 🐴
Today Becky is feeling better & grazing, looks like the antibiotics are working.
We will get her blood results back today.
