We’re excited to welcome Angie Goode (Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), UniSA) to the Strathalbyn Physiotherapy team 👋

Angie is a new graduate physiotherapist who focuses on patient-centred, evidence-based care, aiming to help people return to the activities and goals that are most meaningful to them.

Angie has completed placements across musculoskeletal physiotherapy, stroke rehabilitation at Flinders Medical Centre, and acute hospital care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and has strong experience working with older adults to improve strength, balance, mobility and independence.

Special interests include general MSK rehab, low back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder & knee pain, and falls prevention.

🎉 Welcome to the team Cody!🎉

We are delighted to introduce Cody Griffiths as our newest Physiotherapist!

Cody is a physiotherapy graduate from the University of South Australia, where he completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours. His professional experience spans orthopaedic care, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, developed through roles in both hospital and private practice settings in Adelaide.

Originally from Goolwa, Cody relocated to the city for his studies and early career before returning to the Fleurieu Peninsula, where he is pleased to once again be part of his local community.

Having been an elite level Volleyball player, Cody has a strong passion for musculoskeletal, rehabilitative, and sports physiotherapy. He also maintains a particular interest in neuro-physiotherapy. He values the importance of movement and an active lifestyle, and is dedicated to supporting individuals through their rehabilitation and personal development. This commitment to helping others is a key reason he chose the physiotherapy profession.

He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is committed to ongoing professional development to maintain high-quality, evidence-based practice.

Outside of work, Cody leads an active lifestyle and enjoys participating in football and various other sports. He strives to be an ethical, compassionate clinician who is continually motivated to grow professionally and contribute positively to the health and wellbeing of others.

Cody is available for bookings as of the 19th of January, and will be in the clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday Mornings and Fridays.

**UPDATE** This change has been implemented to combat the rising number of spam messages being received. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do to fix it. The most you can do as a patient is mark the sender as known for IPhone users, and for Android, save the number in your phone. These changes should stop the messages from going to the spam folder!

Important Update About Appointment Reminders!

We've recently discovered that due to changes made by several mobile providers, some of our text message reminders are automatically being filtered into the "spam" or "junk" folder on phones - and many people don't even know that folder exists!

While we are looking into whether there is anything we can do to fix this, unfortunately it's currently out of our control.

To avoid missing your appointment and incurring a missed appointment fee, please set yourself a manual reminder if you have an appointment coming up as we cannot guarantee that our text messages will reach you at the moment.

We really appreciate your understanding while we work through this issue.
