I’ve had many calls over the last couple of months from people who feel that they are finding it extremely hard to lose the weight that they have put on during lockdown. What we need to remember is that when trying to lose weight, we need to be in a calorie deficit. There are other important factors including a good nights sleep, plenty of water, reducing sugar intake, eating plenty of fruit & vegetables & lean protein and exercise. If you can’t get to a gym, walking between half an hour to an hour each day is sufficient. It’s not always easy to keep on track but if you remember these few tips it might make it just that little bit easier.
