It's been a tough time for everyone. The elderly, the recently retired, the overloaded families, the couples who couldn't get married, the isolated singles, the disabled or those needing regular medical attention, and all the kids who are growing up, missing out on things that previous generations took for granted, such as birthday parties, community sports, school camps, senior formals, and just getting to see their friends at school each day.

We all have a least one person in our lives who crosses our minds, you know, the person you meant to call a while ago, just to check-in. Reach out to that person today. It could change a life.

World Duchenne Awareness Day is a global day aimed to raise awareness for those affected by Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy.
One in 5000 newborn boys (and in rare cases, girls) in the world are affected by a rare and fatal disease: Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Seems like a small group, but the 250,000+ children and young adults around the globe think big and have big dreams.

It's International Assistance Dog Week!
Let's celebrate all the devoted, hardworking and very good bois and girls looking after the special people in their life.
Who's met Max? He's our 8yo Cavalier King Charles Therapy Dog. He's in the clinic most days and loves saying hello to our clients and getting pats.
In his spare time he hangs with his cat brothers and is known to chase the odd cow on the farm.
Max would love for you to give a shout out to your own four legged super hero!

Well & Able and Moveable Kids will remain operational throughout the July/August lockdown while implementing the updated Covid-19 guidelines.
We kindly ask our clients not to arrive more than 5 minutes early to manage our spaces effectively and to wait in the designated waiting areas on arrival, unless otherwise requested.

The difference the right pair of orthopaedic shoes can make to a child's confidence, stability and movement is always a pleasure to witness.
We are very lucky that Moveable Kids operates together with Well & Able to be able to provide a complete approach to children's therapies.

This is what drives us. Seeing kids smash goals and show everyone just what they can do, all with the help of something as simple as the right pair of supportive shoes.
Check out this little legend in his pair of Aurelka 1003's. A couple of weeks later, mum sent a video showing him taking some very determined steps across the room ( made a beeline straight for Dad who was holding an iceblock 😄) and we couldn't be more proud. Here is what his Mum had to say...
"He's off and walking ❤️❤️❤️❤️ his shoes have made the WORLD of difference. His physio loves them too! He doesn't speak but every time he gets up from a sleep he will go and get his shoes and put them on. Absolutely amazing 🤗
