S5 EP9: Let’s talk about it: answering your questions (season finale)

Growing up doesn’t come with a rulebook, and sometimes it helps to hear how other young people are navigating the same questions.
In our season finale, we answer anonymous questions from young people about real-life stuff… including how we can explore our identity when support isn’t there, knowing when work is affecting your mental health and much more!
This episode is all about reminding you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to be doing okay.

We recommend MOST to many of the young people we support.

MOST is a free online platform backed by over a decade of research, where you can:
✨ access helpful mental health tools anytime
✨ connect with other young people who get it
✨ get support from clinicians, peer workers and career counsellors

MOST is built specifically for people aged 12-15. It extends the support you get from us, so you’re not on your own between sessions.

We had so much fun last Thursday at Closing the Gap Day 💚

Young people were able to come into the space and explore what steps they could take to a stronger them and engage in a grounding activity of nature clay 🍂

We hope everyone had a deadly time coming together at the Adelaide Showground on Kaurna Country to celebrate First Nations cultures and champion inclusivity for Aboriginal people.

🖤💙🤍💚 Thank you to Nunkuwarrin Yunti for putting together an amazing event ❤️💛🖤

S5 EP8: music, meaning, and mental health (feat. Aston from towns).

Music can hype you up, calm you down, help you process feelings, or say the things you
can’t put into words. And for so many young people, it’s a massive part of identity,
connection, and coping through tough times.

So, we teamed up with Aston from towns to chat about how music helps us feel
understood, the creative side of making music (even when it’s messy), confidence, selfexpression & finding your sound, and how music becomes a mental health tool.

Whether you’re blasting tunes, writing lyrics, or screaming in the car on the way home,
this episode is for you!
