Mr Siva Sundararajan MBChB, MRCS, FRACS

General, Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon

Siva is an Australian trained surgeon. He migrated to Australia in 2004. After completing his advanced general surgical training in Western Australia, he went to Melbourne to undertake a fellowship in bariatric surgery at Box Hill Hospital. There, he trained under expert surgeons like Mr Anthony Clough, who was the first to perform robotic bariatric surgery in Australia. He then travelled to Belgium to work with Mr Bruno Dillemans - a world renowned bariatric surgeon, to fine tune his skills. In addition, he has a strong interest in military surgery and currently holds the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Australian Air Force as a surgeon. He is a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), Obesity Surgery Society of Australia & New Zealand (OSSANZ) and General Surgeons of Australia (GSA).
