Last night we unleashed our feminine side for our monthly challenge by joining the gals at for a Heels Flow session 👠

We had so much fun moving our bodies in a different way - moving the hips freely, dropping down low, shimmying and shaking the b***y 😍

Our feminine flow challenge has been all about getting re-acquainted with flowing freely, being creative, honouring our bodies and being more intuitive.

And the Heels Flow captured it all!!

Thank you to all my beautiful members who joined in, got out of their comfort zone, tried something different and absolutely nailed the choreo!! ❤️‍🔥

Special mention to the 7pm crew who joined the Intermediate/ Advanced class and rocked it!

And as always a BIG THANK YOU to Buki and her fabulous ladies who made us feel so welcomed and made us feel like the sexy goddesses we deserve to feel like 🫶💃

+ LET’S GET FIRED UP +
I’m angry and absolutely sick of seeing “fitness professionals” on this app give nutrition advice.

They have 1000’s of followers.
They spend most of their day in the gym.
They prob haven’t event worked with a midlife women in person in their life.
They don’t have a proper nutrition qualification…

But here they are constantly pushing the advice that “the only way to lose weight is if you are in a calorie deficit”

And

“If that didn’t work, you probably weren’t calculating right”

Now - a calorie deficit definitely can work BUT for women who have been told for the MAJORITY of their life to eat less by weight watchers, biggest loser and every other diet program.

Most women actually need to be EATING MORE!

Their metabolism isn’t firing as it should because they eat 1200 calories thinking that’s what they should be doing to lose weight.

When that’s not even enough to keep your vital organs functioning optimally if you were to lie in bed all day and do nothing.

And guess who isn’t spreading this information…
Degree qualified nutritionists who ACTUALLY work with women face to face and has been in the industry for years.

Not a fitness trainer who has done a Bikini Body Competition!

If you are a woman reading this who feels like a failure… you are NOT! The diet industry failed you ❤️

The joys of celebrating your birthday while solo parenting two toddlers all day on 5 hours of sleep + Day 1 of your period 🙃😅

But all in all, the kids helped me survive the day (just) by putting on a picnic of all THEIR favourite foods, let me lie down and watch a movie without them fighting for an hour, Jaida painted my toe nails and Kayce gave me lots of cuddles + kisses 🥰

And at the ripe age of 32 I decided to have a cheesecake instead of the Freddo Frog Icecream cake 😮 I must be getting old!!

But grateful for another year on this earth ☺️

Grateful for all the love today and every other day by my family, friends, members and supporters 💛

Thank you for being here, supporting me and trusting in me!

+ THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE +
In today’s society, especially thanks to social media, the ultimate challenge isn’t sticking to your “21 Day Challenge” or “6 Week Shred”, the challenge is to eat in a balanced, sustainable way that helps you feel your best - both physically and mentally.

And that challenge to eat in a nourishing and supportive way is so much easier, so much more enjoyable and will give you the long term results you deserve.

But this doesn’t get promoted at all because the results aren’t:
💥 fast
💥 Insta-Worthy
💥 going to convert sales

But what it is going to do for you is to help you finally start to work with your body - not against it!

It’s going to allow you to eat in a nourishing way that isn’t going to cause more stress (which stress creates more damage than eating cake in the first place).

It’s going to help you stop at one bite before you devour a whole block, making you feel guilty, sick and like failure.

If you are sick of “failing” another 8 week challenge because you didn’t have enough “willpower”…

Know that the diet failed you, you didn’t fail the diet.

And because the diet didn’t work with your body, your body gave you signs that fought against your own willpower leading to a losing battle.

But it doesn’t have to be that way, especially leading into the Festive season!

You can have your cake and enjoy it.

You can celebrate Christmas without the guilt or the binges.

You can start your New Year with confidence that you ARE going to achieve your New Year resolution because you know how to work with your body and natural biology.

This morning I posted episode 14 of the She Knows Her Body podcast which will be the last episode…

For this year!

When I first wanted to launch the podcast, I had 7 topics in mind and I doubled it in the first season 🤩

I really loved being able to share all my health topics I’m so passionate about each and every week to help more women feel empowered in their bodies.

Can you believe we are up to this part of the year?!?

It’s tiiiiimmmmeee 🎶 🎄

The silly season brings joy but a whole lot of chaos - especially to our routine.

Time and time again I see women scared of this time of year thinking they are going to derail everything they’ve done when it comes to their health and fitness.

But my top tip this festive season is to:
👇 Reduce the stress / guilt that comes with eating and moving differently

You don’t need to earn your dessert.
You don’t need to make up for that Christmas lunch.

Because the truth is-
stressing about food does more damage than the food itself.

Your body is resilient. It thrives on consistency, nourishment, movement, and rest - not guilt or restriction.

So this festive season, ditch the all-or-nothing mindset.

Move your body when you can (yes, shopping counts 🛍️), eat foods that make you feel good, and soak up the moments that fill your heart. 💛

Health isn’t just about discipline - it’s also about ease, flexibility, and joy.

✨ You’re allowed to rest.
✨ You’re allowed to celebrate.
✨ You’re allowed to enjoy food… guilt-free.

Your body knows what to do when you stop fighting it.

+ WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO MOVE YOUR BODY? +
If I asked you “Why do you exercise?”…
What would be the answer?

For majority of women that join my classes the number one reason would be “to lose weight” or “tone up” or “to look a certain way”.

It’s not until we shift the focus away from weight loss that they start to really appreciate how much BETTER they feel when they move their body.

🏋️‍♀️ How badass it feels to lift a heavy weight they never thought they could lift

🤸‍♀️ How much more energy they have and how they really feel heavy and “blah” when they don’t exercise

🧘‍♀️ How better their joints feel with regular stretching and mobility making everyday life feel “lighter” and pain free

❤️‍🩹 How quicker they recover from injury thanks to keeping their muscles strong

🧠 How much of a mood booster it is after a stressful, crappy day at work / with the family

And that’s why I absolutely LOVED the response I received when I asked Jaida’s kinder class “why it’s important to move their body”

It was all about being energized, super strong and fast like their superheroes - there was nothing about shape, size or looks - how it should be!

And the best response…

Because it’s fun! 🤩

So if your exercise isn’t making you feel like a superhero and you aren’t having fun with it - it’s time to mix it up!

Move in a way that:
💪 FEELS better
🧠 EASES your mind
💥 BOOSTS your mood and energy
❤️ ELEVATES your overall health and longevity

If I hear one more male (and some female) influencer recommend advice to women about:
🗣 how to lose weight eating low calories
🗣 bounce back from giving birth
🗣 get your Summer body ready now

I’m going to scream!!!!! 🤬

Thanks to being in the fitness world, I have a lot of suggested posts with absolute bu****it advice from young men who have a following that are getting likes, views and paid by spilling health advice targeted for “weight loss” but are setting women up to be stuck on the never ending diet cycle.

Leaving more women feeling unhappy and unhealthy in their bodies!

So to drown out the noise I’m hear to remind you…

We were born to be alive! 💥

Not walking around like the dead because we are depriving ourselves of fuel and nutrients to shrink our body down to societal standards.

All bodies are different! 💪

I’m the strongest I have ever felt - now - in this body above who has birthed 2x children and has a prolapse (👊 to THAT GUY in the viral “bounce back” video going around). Yes my body has changed, I’m more wobbly, bits hang lower than when I was in my 20s but who cares when I feel the strong, happy and healthy in my body!

Your size doesn’t determine your worth or health! 🫶

Can we stop this pressure in society and on our selves that we have to be thin to be worthy… or even healthy! Like I said most the health advice to lose weight is far more detrimental for your mental and physical health.

Eat.
Move.
Dress.
In a way that makes you feel alive!! 🤩

I recommend having a dance for extra alive-ness.

+ THE TRUTH ABOUT MACROS +
If you’ve spent any time in the fitness or nutrition world, you’ve probably heard someone say, ‘I’m tracking my macros” or A LOT of unqualified trainers will offer nutrition support through “calculating your macros”.

And while tracking can help you understand what’s in your food, I want to take this conversation beyond the numbers - because food isn’t just data.

It’s nourishment.
It’s fuel.
It’s connection.

In today’s 🌟 NEW 🌟 podcast episode…

I want to help you understand what macronutrients actually are, what they do for your hormones, metabolism and energy, and how to make them work for you - without the food obsession or the tracking apps.

Because the goal isn’t to count your food… it’s to connect with it!

I actually like some aspects of the Macro diet, especially the flexible eating component - it helps people move away from labeling foods as good or bad and allows more freedom.

But my issue?

It still reduces food to numbers - grams, calories, targets - and ignores the quality of what’s on your plate.

You can technically ‘hit your macros’ eating protein bars, white bread and oil sprays… but that doesn’t mean your body is being nourished.

And what’s often missing from the macro conversation is fibre - one of the most underrated nutrients for hormone balance, gut health, blood sugar regulation and long-term energy!
