A bit of a personal story for me after having spent the afternoon with my dad, who was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at 62 years of age, and his amazing Speechie, Dr Margaret Pozzebon.

I have so much love for the speech pathology profession, and the impact that communication can have across the lifespan.

I learn so much from my peers, and I am always amazed at the breadth of skills that speechies offer to the community

What a whirlwind.

Two workshops in two cities. It has been a blast learning, networking, and collaborating with like-minded therapists and teachers, all with the same intention...to make classrooms, workplaces, and the community a better place for neurodivergent individuals.
