Omnia Community Health

Omnia Community Health We are a not-for-profit, values-based organisation, established in 2026 through the merger of Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and Nexus Primary Health.

We cover the Hume, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas. Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation, providing a range of services that respond to the needs of Sunbury, the Macedon Ranges and its surrounding communities. We care about the health of our community as an entire population. We are concerned not just about ill-health and treatment of disease, but about the factors that actually predict whether someone is healthy, like strong families, social cohesion and mental health, as well as the prevalence of risks such as obesity, tobacco, alcohol and drug use, family violence, problem gambling, and vulnerabilities that come from low incomes or ageing. We believe that it’s in making improvements to these factors that we make the biggest difference to health and wellbeing overall. While we are available to the entire community of Sunbury, the Macedon Ranges and its surrounds, we prioritise our services to those whose health and wellbeing is vulnerable or at risk. We invest our efforts where evidence exists that needs exist, and where we have evidence of approaches that work. For our Terms of Use for this page go to:

We recently held our first Hume Gender Equity in Sport Network (HGESN) session for 2026 at Broadmeadows Basketball in partnership with Hume City Council , DPV Health and Women’s Health in the North. We were pleased to welcome a strong mix of representatives from local sporting clubs, State Sporting Associations and community health organisations.

Panellists shared personal experiences, practical tips and reflections on fostering gender equity within sporting environments. Their contributions provided valuable guidance and inspiration for members to apply within their own clubs and organisations.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Hume Gender Equity in Sport network you can register here https://www.hume.vic.gov.au/Things-to-do/Leisure-and-Open-Space/Sport-and-Recreation/Sport-Development-Inclusion/Hume-Gender-Equity-in-Sport-Network

Trans Day of Visibility (TDoV) is an annual international celebration recognising the experiences and achievements of transgender, gender diverse, and non binary people. First organised in 2009 by activist Rachel Crandall Crocker who wanted to celebrate and uplift trans people. TDoV now offers an opportunity, on a global scale to celebrate our vibrant and diverse trans communities.

At Omnia Community Health, we’re proud to be deepening our commitment to gender affirming care. Led by Macedon Ranges and the CLIP - Country lgbtiq+ Inclusion Program , we’re excited to launch ‘Flat Out Proud’, our new binder fitting initiative. This program gives community members the chance to try on binders, learn about safe binding practices, and find an affirming fit to support their gender affirmation journey.

Trans and gender diverse people deserve to feel seen, supported, and celebrated – today and every day.
