Be verbally guided through the Ashtanga Vinyasa system, fostering flexibility, stamina, and strength. We are the Centre for kids who can’t lift good. And who want to learn other stuff good too. πŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Mostly we train adults ( some behave like kids)

In strength classes we help our clients build up confidence, technique and get strong in barbell lifts. This week we are testing:
Deadlifts
Back squats
Barbell Hip thurst
Strict Press
Bench Press

We also program in some mobility, sometimes handstands and single leg stability drills like pistol squats. We like to do all the fun stuff tooπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

Most of our clients come to us have never tried barbell exercises in the gym and it is so rewarding to see them replace fear with confidence and hit some heavy personal bests. πŸ‘πŸ»

The full series is about 75 poses takes an hour and a half to two hours to complete, beginning with sun salutations (surya namaskara A and surya namaskara B) and moving on to standing poses, seated poses, inversions, and backbends before relaxation.

Come join my yoga guru; Tracy Cooper, for a shortened format of this practice. Tracy has been teaching and studying yoga for 30years.

As the yoga poses and format stay the same each practice, Ashtanga bring a deep awareness of breath and mindful movement.
