Olympic lifting ๐Ÿ“ˆ whether itโ€™s the clean and jerk or sn**ch, these are some most rewarding movements you can perform ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

It takes time to build these skills but, the benefits are significant once you become competentโ€ฆ

Let me explainโ€ฆ

Olympic lifting bridges the gap between โ€œslowโ€ force dominant lifting such as the deadlift and back squat, to ultra fast movements such as sprinting and jumping.

Olympic lifts can be heavy enough to require real strength, fast enough to demand intent and timing. They teach you how to turn strength on quickly, which is exactly the missing link for a lot of strong-but-slow athletes.

To become a powerful athlete, you have to move load at a higher velocity!

In majority of sports, being a powerful athlete gives you the upper hand in competition.

Take Jiu Jitsu and wrestling as an example.. ๐Ÿคผ if youโ€™re a more powerful athlete in a grappling/contact sport, the chances of you submitting your opponent is much higher! Obviously there is a huge skill factor to consider.. but you can use training methods to enhance your performance!

Itโ€™s crazy how we take movement for granted until we get injuredโ€ฆ โŒ

It shouldnt eel like a chore to train.. movement is a blessing. To feel what your body is truly capable of is something everyone should experience.
