Seeking, Professional and Experienced Support Workers to join our Sunshine Coast Team
Are you passionate about delivering high quality support?
We are looking for employees who are looking for casual and flexible hours and want to make a difference in helping to support our participants meet their goals!
Do you have experience working in the Community/Disability/Child Service sector: and have either a qualification and Disability Services or higher education, social work, children youth and trauma!
Our Support Workers;
Must have:
📍 Reliable car and current Drivers Licence (comprehensive car insurance)
📍 Have a current National Police Check
📍 Have a current Working with NDIS work screen check/ Blue card / Yellow card
📍 First aid and CPR
📍 NDIS Mandatory modules: Worker Orientation/ Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meal Module / New Worker NDIS Induction Module / Supporting Effective Communication Module.
📍 Minimum entry level of certificate in Disability, Community Services and Mental Health.
Must be able to fulfill the following services;
📍 Implement and follow Behavioural Support Plan
📍 Willing and able to work with Complex behaviours
📍 Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming and possibly medication prompting.
📍 Domestic Assistance: meal preparation, cooking, household cleaning and laundry.
📍 Social Support/Transportation: transport to appointments and social activities.
📍 Skills development support for disability participants: helping build capacity with life skills.
