At Solshine Arts we believe that art and creativity are organic and natural within every one of us. I have been involved in the arts my whole life.

My name is Louise Bastos and I’m a creative workshops facilitator. I'm Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapist and Counsellor (HICAT). I use art as a healing tool for you to feel more connected and relaxed: mentally, emotionally and physically. In 2020, I started working with mindful arts & crafts workshops and have already helped dozens of people to connect with their creativity. I’m also a resident artist at a famous Sip N’ Paint studio in Noosa, teaching painting classes to hundreds of guests monthly. I'm a creative soul that loves connecting with people and I believe in exploring creativity in a holistic way. I welcome everyone to my art healing space, and I am proud to offer a safe environment for people with different backgrounds. I’m looking forward to meeting you and celebrating creativity together, schedule for sessions will be opening soon, stay tuned. I facilitate sessions in English and Portuguese, whatever works better for you.

Start here:
Make a messy first mark.
No plan. No perfect idea. Just begin.

Don’t aim for beauty yet.
Beauty comes after momentum.

Limit your choices.
One color. One tool. Less thinking. More doing.

Stay loose.
Break the blank.

Looking back at 2025 to create my for the year (thank you for the reminder .juferreira 🤗).
I’m actually so impressed with how much work I was able to create — from murals and commissions to original pieces. Not mentioning the amazing art events I was able to participate.

Now it’s time to slow down, open my journal, and write about this beautiful year coming to an end.
So much growth, so many changes, the closing of cycles, and the beginning of exciting new ideas and projects 🙌🏼

With a heart full of love, gratitude, and amazement for the incredible year that 2025 was, I wish each one of you a joyful festive season. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your trust and for giving me the biggest year of Solshine Arts to date!
