We're a locally owned, proudly home-grown team based in North Brisbane. Over the past three years, we've grown organically into a crew of passionate, kind-hearted support professionals. We provide personalised, empowering support to people with disabilities and their families. We believe in inclusion, individuality, and doing this work with heart.

Right now, we have a number of new participants seeking support workers, so it's the perfect time to join our team!

✨ Brief Summary of the Role
As a Support Worker with New Wave Care, you'll be providing meaningful, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities across North Brisbane. Your role is to help participants live safely, confidently, and independently — whether that's through daily living assistance, community access, personal care, or simply being a compassionate presence in their day. Every shift has purpose, and every connection you build matters.

💫 We're Looking For…
Someone who is caring, reliable, and ready to jump in with a can-do attitude — immediate start available!

We have a number of participants looking for their next Support Worker superstar! The role offers an ongoing roster from Monday through Sunday, requires good flexibility, and includes several non-active sleepovers.

If you tick a few of these boxes, we want to hear from you:

# Qualifications in disability, aged care or community services
# Experience supporting individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
# A great communicator (and an even better listener)
# Kind, calm, patient and understanding
# Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
# A can-do attitude
# NDIS Screening Card
# Blue Card
# First Aid & CPR
# Driver's licence + reliable car
# Full comprehensive car insurance
# NDIS Orientation Module completed

About the Role:
You’ll be supporting participants in their daily activities, encouraging independence, and helping create meaningful experiences. This role also includes providing home tech assistance, so confidence with Samsung devices and home tech setup is essential.
