Living Choice Queensland - Staff Achievements!



We’re proud to share that Joanne Passlow (Village Manager) and Jenni Morris (Assistant Village Manager) celebrated reaching 1,000 personal development points through online learning and training through DCM Institute—a fantastic achievement!

The awards were announced at the Village Summit recently in Brisbane, part of a national roadshow. It’s an incredible opportunity to network and hear from inspiring presenters. This year’s theme was “Wellbeing Done Well”, focusing on practical strategies to support residents and teams.

Celebrating Nancy Bourke’s Retirement!

We recently gathered at The Boatshed, Maroochydore to celebrate the retirement of Nancy Bourke, who has dedicated an incredible 22 years to Living Choice.

The evening was filled with laughter and fond memories as Christine and Nancy shared stories from their two decades of working together.
Christine also presented Nancy with a Certificate of Acknowledgement on behalf of Living Choice, recognising her loyalty and hard work. Nancy was delighted to receive her gift cards as well!

Nancy is looking forward to this next chapter—pursuing her hobbies and enrolling in courses at Sunshine Coast University. Many may not know that Nancy is also a very talented artist!
Congratulations, Nancy! Wishing you all the best in your exciting new adventure.

The Home Care team were at Twin Waters last week to host an information session covering key topics like the origins of Home Care, how to register with My Aged Care, and understanding the income-tested care fee.

With over 30 attendees, the feedback to the Home Care team was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who attended we hope you got lots of useful information out of the session.
